Installing Adobe Flash on Ubuntu 9.10 – Just works.

Ubuntu just work

One of the first things your going to need with Ubuntu 9.10 is FLASH player. I’m still not real happy with Ubuntu and Adobe on this mess; it’s just stupid.

How in the world is a new person to Ubuntu to understand half the gibberish crap about terminal commands, the tweaks to get the FLASH player installed?

While the Ubuntu forums are swarmed with them… this is what I did, it worked and it was painless in comparison to going to Adobe’s website to install the latest .DEB.

Netbooks are just today’s Stop-Gap

image Netbooks are a simple example how technology is shrinking down and peoples desire to have their information with them and where it has to be portable. The Netbooks are proving them selves as  the fad of the day.

They are just the temporary gap to the point where you go home, plug your phone in to a docking station that has a keyboard, video & monitor [KVM] hook-up to it so you can use it as a full size PC environment. And when your done, you just pick it up and go; the Iphone is about 2 seconds away from this. They have docking stations for everything else the Iphone can do, why not this?
