Windows 10: Microsoft Desperate or Cool

Yesterday, I watched the presentation by Microsoft on their expectations for Windows 10. I thought that everything that Microsoft was talking about was mostly inspiring, but I couldn’t help but hear a underlying message. Microsoft recognizes that they have almost two billion machines/customers using the Windows operating system. They can use that advantage as leverage …

Expect Microsoft to claim victory for Windows 8

Windows 8 has been the Titanic of our day when it pertains to Microsoft operating systems. It was and still is a monster-ably deformed release of an operating system. It was Microsoft’s knee jerk reaction to not having a stake in the mobile market. Some how they thought that everyone was going to have …

Apple’s iPhone 6 new features are not NEW

This discussion wasn’t necessarily about the standard version or the plus version, it was a discussion basically as to why people get so excited about the release of the iPhone in general. The driving …

What does the early leak of The Expendables 3 mean?

This past week, the Internet was buzzing about the leaked release of Expendables 3. Expendables 3 wasn’t supposed to be released for approximately another three weeks. Having a movie like this leak out onto the Internet so early is really going to hurt the bottom line of this movie release, but the bigger point here is the …

Microsoft $100 credit isn’t going to push users to Windows 8

You really have to give it to Microsoft on having operating system that’s almost 15 years old and people are still using it. Irregardless of the security problems and performance issues with Windows XP, it’s still an operating system that’s in full effect in lots of companies. Windows XP survived the release of Windows Vista; which was a complete failure.
