I had resisted for a while in even trying the Redbox option, but I kept seeing the coupon/codes for a free video rental once a week. It’s pretty damn hard to pass up a free movie a week.
So I dove in last week to give it a shot and so far it’s okay; it’s not great, but it’s okay. The thing they have done great is the communication and the interface. The signup [for me] was via the Internet. I logged on, put in my info and I was ready to go in about 5 minutes.
It’s really easy.

November was a big month in the terms of traffic. It was a disappointing month in terms of performance of adverts.
I can’t say that I was too happy with the advert providers and it may not be their fault, but when you look at the traffic being up and adverts performance being lower that the last 2 months…
It’s disappointing…

Firefox is an Internet browser that keeps it’s popularity by it’s extensibility and every once in a while you find one of the those extensions/add-ons that need to be integrated in to the browser itself.
How many times have you been browsing the web, searching through page after page, hitting NEXT for the next page, over and over?
Here’s the solution for that…

The only reason you wouldn’t know about Twitter is if you live in a hole somewhere or had your head in the sand.
Twitter is everywhere. TV, blogs, corporate websites and i’ve actually seen it on business cards.
It’s popularity is huge right now and while it can informative, helpful and social, there’s always the spammers and bottom feeders that find ways to misuse the service and spark a mass exodus of the service.

AT&T and Time Warner cable have a lot in common; they love putting the screws to their customer base.
AT&T has been very popular with the iPhone, but the problem with popularity is that people become accustomed to a level of service and when the provider starts nickel and dime in the individual on services that they believe should be standard, feathers are going to get ruffled.
It’s no secret that the customers of AT&T’s iPhone have been slowly coming to a boil, but I think AT&T has found itself on the edge of a precipice. They’re going to have to start thinking about changes. Changes to the service plan and how they treat their customer base.

It’s the best thing to hit the internet since email, or the Pamela Anderson videos… [smile]
Time Warner Cable has screwed up so badly on their decisions to not only impose caps on monthly bandwidth [and charges], but they have actually blundered the implementation SO BAD, it’s sparked a call for government oversight!
It’s amazing what’ll happen if you piss enough people off; or if your abilities to make decisions are over shadowed by the fact you lack synaptic action to take the tin foil off the pop tart before you eat it.

Mozilla’s Firefox is by far the most popular browser that’s recorded by my website. The popularity of Firefox has grown steadily over the past couple years and while some potholes have been placed in the road for Firefox [via Chrome], I still consider Firefox the browser of choice.
One of the beautiful things about Firefox is the ability to add extensions. Firefox by itself is a ‘plain Jane’ browser, but by adding extensions to it if you can increase the function it provides and can make the browsing experience more personal.
It’s something everyone should do…
