How to Cause Instant Email Rage

Email AngerIt really doesn’t matter who sends the email to you when your talking about EMAIL RAGE; it’s like Road Rage but different. Surely this could be filed under email etiquette, but let’s just call it what it is.

Emails from people can infuriate people so quickly, and not even have the intention to. Trust me, I know. [long story]

And sadly enough, the perpetrators are typically people you know, or even worse, people you would call family. That’s bad; cause’ while it would be anyone else you might say to them, ‘get lost’, you now has to smile and place a charade to mask the disappointment.

What can you do?

Review: eMclient v2.0

image eMclient has presented itself as the alternative to Microsoft Outlook and while it has many competitive features, apparently it’s not ready enough to break the finish line ribbon.

Nothing would make me happier than to be able to post an absolutely outrageous and fantastic review about eMclient, but the latest release of this application, after months of waiting, was a little bit of a disappointment to me.

About a week ago the latest revision of eMclient was released, version 2. I had a previous version of eMclient and when I downloaded the next version [v2] I had some difficulties with the upgrade process. I had e-mailed the authors and I didn’t get an immediate response, but I was able to contact them through Twitter. through Twitter I got a quick response from one of the support staff and they gave me the information that needed to be able to clear out the previous installation completely and then start all over. This wasn’t a big deal because I wasn’t using eMclient as my primary e-mail program.

Review: Inglorious Bastards – It’s really good.

image Let’s just start off with saying Quentin Tarantino is a ‘special’ guy. He used to be a video clerk and he’s probably seen all the various ways to make a movie work and spent 100’s of hours watching movies that suck and what he would do to make them better.

That’s actually a skill that’s absent in Hollywood. His views on movie are quite different than most, and the remake of Inglorious Bastards is not a disappointment.

I went to go see the R rated movie over the weekend and I found the movie to be pleasantly surprising. It had a story [which seems to be missing from Hollywood nowadays], the actors were good, there was comedy and it had suspense all the way through it. It’s was refreshing to see something NEW.

HDMI Cables – They’re NOT ‘uber’ expensive; or don’t have to be…

image Do you have a HDMI cable or need one?

When I picked up my new TV I didn’t know much about the HDMI cables, and depending where your going to get your HDMI cables, they can be expensive.

What I found was they don’t have to be expensive.

My story is that I got my TV and then realized I needed a HDMI cable [about 10’] to get to my TV the way I wanted. So the one I had was too short.

I went online to search for prices, the HDMI’s on EBAY were like $1.99 with FREE shipping, but I needed it now. I really didn’t want to wait a week. So, I made an executive decision; go get one. How bad could it be?!

It was close to 9pm and I decide to make a small jump to RADIOSHACK [you’ve got questions, we have answers people].  I hopped in the car drove over there cause it was the closest to me; I really knew better, but I was really hoping for a good result. I was setting myself up for a disappointment.
