Let’s just start off with saying Quentin Tarantino is a ‘special’ guy. He used to be a video clerk and he’s probably seen all the various ways to make a movie work and spent 100’s of hours watching movies that suck and what he would do to make them better.
That’s actually a skill that’s absent in Hollywood. His views on movie are quite different than most, and the remake of Inglorious Bastards is not a disappointment.
I went to go see the R rated movie over the weekend and I found the movie to be pleasantly surprising. It had a story [which seems to be missing from Hollywood nowadays], the actors were good, there was comedy and it had suspense all the way through it. It’s was refreshing to see something NEW.
