Are you anal enough that when people send you emails, and they’re not formatted correctly; do you just freak the hell out?
Do you start off on a diatribe in private about where’s the proper subject, or what in the hell would someone send this e-mail to me; it’s stupid!
Well, happy birthday… There’s a Thunderbird author that has written a plug-in for Mozilla Thunderbird that allows you to ‘slam’ your closest [maybe not anymore] with e-mail etiquette rules about why their emails suck and what they need to do with pointless and mind numbing e-mails you send them…
It’s actually an unique idea. I would never have dreamed about creating a plug-in to scold people about their complete lack of e-mail knowledge, formatting, attention to detail and common etiquette.
As you can see from the examples provided, the author has options to quick slam the offending sender with a virtual ‘F’ in proper use of sending emails. Again, I believe it’s brilliant. And I can’t imagine the lengths the author has gone to compose this.
I recall a famous quote; ‘necessity and disconten are is the mother of invention’.
Now, taking in to account the action of this plug-in and the efforts to create this plug-in, I’d have to say this author had just about enough of looking at obtuse emails; and answering stupid questions… driving him right off the cliff to writing this wonderfully myopic plug-in.
I can’t say that I’m going to actually install the plug-in, or use it, but I’m sure that when you have reached your limit on e-mail intolerance, this plug-in is going to be for you.

I’m confident that with just a few uses of this plug-in, the last of your friends sending you emails— will stop. A tip of my hat to the author and best of luck with your therapy sessions.
I hope this helps everyone else… and enjoy.
