I have to admit I’ve never used a ‘music maker’ before, but I was recently very surprised when I downloaded a free version of Magix Music Maker [silver].
It’s been so fun to make my own music, my wife has even found the process very creative. If you’ve never created music on your own, thinking the process maybe too complex to even attempt; you have a pleseant surprise ahead of you with Magix Music Maker.
I don’t have the high end version of this software, but I still find all the things I can with it very nice. And not only can I create music with it, I can import music from other sources and edit those; making them my own and using them in my own compositions, which is very exciting to have it all come together.
This is the main form, it gives you 8 tracks to work with right out of the gate. I made a few songs with the software really fast; this was my first one… and by no means did I spend a lot of time on composition, but it worked out very well.
Download it here and/or you can just listen…
I found the controls very easy to use; it has the storyboard/timeline that’s really easy for me to understand [unlike Windows Live Movie Maker].
I did a quick video of the application just as a tour of what’s there as an offering. Here’s a quick video I did; just a little tour…
Here’s some more music I created with it…
Digginit – Download Digginit
Oboe – Download Oboe
Viking Sail – Download Viking Sail
If you’ve never created music before this will really do something for you and really get you contemplating what’s possible…
Thank you,
Larry Henry Jr.
