Blogging: Auto Tag Generator Plug-In for Windows Live Writer

January 11th, 2010

Using Windows Live Writer is probably one of the most useful and smart tools you can use with blogging. And just short of that, is coming up with tags for the articles you write.

But thanks to a plug-in for Windows Live Writer, your posting experience is going to get easier.

The answer is ‘Auto Tag Generator Plug-In’ for Windows Live Writer.

Auto Tag Generator Plug-In screenshotAfter you write the post with Windows Live Writer, you select all the text of the article and choose the options to ‘auto generate tags’. The plug-in will review the post and select the keywords of the post and give you a list.

From the list you can removed the tags you don’t want. Once done, the tags are copied to the clipboard and then you can paste them in the TAGS box at the bottom.

It’s a complete God send.

This plug-in was posted in July. No updates have been issued thus far and no alerts from the author, but there are high hopes to see more from this author and plug-in; as well as Windows Live Writer with hopes of a new release and January 2010.

Download it here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
L. Henry Jr.
