Raindrop Mobile Progression on my Head… |
Raindrop is a concept that should be worth while to anyone and there seems to be a lot of work going on over at Mozilla on getting something developed to handle these influx of information.
The fact that the whole process and application is web-based is encouraging. This ensures the application of this type of functionality and being able to use it through a mobile device is a very nice effect.
It’s exciting to see this progress…
One of the initial goals with Raindrop was to develop it as both a browser based application for your desktop, as well as a web based mobile application. Designing for a desktop and designing for a mobile phone present different and unique challenges. This blog post will go over some very initial ideas for how Raindrop could function as a mobile application.
Here’s some screenshots:
These are early development picture, but it shows nice form and easy of use.
The third screen shows your Twitter broadcast tweets. Each tweet becomes a clickable item which brings up an actions panel to quickly and easily reply to a tweet.
I can’t wait to see more meat and potatoes; something to integrate with Thunderbird.
Thanks,
