Firefox Add-on: SmarterFox |
Making Firefox that much easier to use a common goal of everyone. I found this plug-in and I like how it works.
The basics of it are that when you double click a word(s) the terms can be searched by a quick popup window.
I thas some social and search functions from the popup that makes finding that unknown word or researhing a term very easy to research; even Twitter it.
Here’s some screenshots.
You’ve control over what services the plug-in can do; which is very nice.
One of the nicer items on the list is the continuous Google results page.
When you go to the search page you’ve a neat little new toolbar, to search other services.
And as your scrolling and get close to the bottom, the next page is loaded; and search results continue.
Another neat feature to this add-on is the link detection. If you’ve ever found yourself on a page with an email address or URL that’s not active, this plug-in will detect it and make it active for you.
I think it has a few nice features and it’s a good addition to Firefox.
You can download it here.
Thanks,
LHenryJr.
