Energy Cost Calculator: power consumption in to perspective |
If you’re not keeping track of which lights are being left on and still haven’t started using florescent lights, you probably didn’t realize we’re in bad economic times. Right now saving money is a cool/hip thing to do.
It’s the smart thing to do…
But if your just the slightest bit savvy this is a good program to cure the curious cats out there who want to find out what it costs to live civil like [using electricity and water].
This program was written for the common person. There’s no glitter or glam to it. The program is very small, fast to open and the GUI is very user friendly. There’s nothing to learn, just type in some basic information [you could probably find from your electric/water bill] and the program does the rest.
The information the program produces is in your face facts about the cost of using utilities.
The only settings the program has is for language and for auto updates [my favorite function in a program].
The author seems to be fairly generous by offering this version for free. You can visit their website here, aiming at organizing and helping the common person.
Thanks for reading!
