Twitter Over Capacity: CAPTAIN… ICEBERG AHEAD!

Twitter ProblemsI’m not a seasoned user of Twitter. And the full capacity of what it can do or could be used for sure has eluded me to some level, but what I do see on a regular basis is the irritation of the Twitter outages.

It seems that just about every other time I try to use Twitter the website will provide me with a nice little picture of a whale in the air and some pretty birds carrying it along all nice and happy.

I know the color blue and pretty birds are supposed to make me be happy about this, but I can’t help but think, why is this service so popular if the service has so many connectivity problems? Service interruptions?

At this point, I like the interface and I like the social pathway the site provides, but I’m also wondering when the heck they’re going to update their server, pay for better bandwidth or fix these service issues before they start loosing ‘tweets’.

With new ‘like’ services emerging everyday it’s got to be hard realizing you’ve this issue and it’s ongoing and you can’t deal with the sheer traffic. It’s not a new thing it’s been going on for months.

Questionably, when does a user just loose it; forgoing the whole service?

Are they over extended, or are they locked in to Twitter? I don’t think anyone is locked in to any social avenue right now. The days of visiting multiple websites to update your social status is just about gone.

You’ll have one website to go to say what your doing and it’s going to propagate to all the social sites you subscribe to..

Thanks for reading!

Enjoy.
