In the Fall: Vista to Windows 7

June 15th, 2009

imageMicrosoft is going to release Windows 7 in October 2009.

The Windows ME days of Vista are almost over. The Operating System that never really made it is exiting to quiet applause.

Microsoft is launching Windows 7 in mid-October 2009. This new operating system isn’t just a “Vista that works” program – it’s a new operating system with improved productivity, functionality and creativity that uses less computer resources.

Apparently the memo leaked by Best Buy shows that they’re going to pre-sell the Operating System for some shockingly low prices; this is something Microsoft should have done years ago.

Having tested the beta version of Windows 7, I can attest that it runs a bit faster; it seems a bit more responsive and this should be something that carries over to the applications on the system.

And just so everyone understands, if the system runs faster and programs open faster, then you’re ‘more productive’.

So set your alarm clocks, if your interested, and get your copy starting June 26th.

Expect delays.

Thanks for reading!

Enjoy.
