HHO Power is a Good Step |
With gas prices on the rise again and the US coming in with a new president, there’s no telling what is going to happen, but I know that we have to come up with a new way to power our transportation.
Keeping an eye on the GREEN technology, I find the HHO fuels awesome. HHO is mixture of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. When a catalyst is applied, the hydrogen from the water is released. Hydrogen can be burned, but better, can be stored.
Here’s a good video of a project in motion:
What you’ll see is the hydrogen being extracted from the water and then the hydrogen being ignited; releasing fuel that could be captured, stored and used for a alternate fuel.
When it rains, you get water; that water could be captured and placed in reservoir [replenishing the water supply where needed]. Solar could charge batteries. Batteries could create the hydrogen we need to run the vehicles.
The average commute is 50 miles a day. Using combined technologies, a self sustained vehicle is possible.
I’m hopeful that these types of renewable/plentiful energy sources and be exploited for powering our transportation needs; not only for vehicles, but other things as well.
It’s coming! Watch for it.

I have been keeping an eye on this as well. Honda is doing a live test in southern California. A person can lease their hydrogen powered car (FXC Clarity) for $600 a month. This includes all maintenance on the car. Toyota is doing something similar down in Australia.
Real people, not just people who work for the manufacturers are doing the testing. I want one now.
Here is honda’s site:

The guy in the video has reported that this is his low end version. He’s going to be working on a bigger one with more output. My thing is this; if this guy is doing this out of his garage or as a hobby, why are the big fellas not doing more? Obviously the Hydrogen can be extracted from the water, and if the cars were retrofitted for hybrid fuels to get better gas mileage it would be better. The cars would get better gas mileage, lower fuel consumption and it would at least start us down the road to freeing ourselves completely from fossil fuels.
I am really interested to see the next five years.
